What's it for?

Ran into another Cbody owner that had his grill and doesn't know what it's for. I'm guessing a Newport custom I just don't know the year. Here's a pic of his Newyorker and a pic of the grill in question. Thanks fellas

Newport's typically will have the least amount of design detail in the grill. New Yorkers with the most detail, and the 300 will have the typical 300 cross. Cool cars the '65.

If I remember correctly, the Newport customs had the large "C" in the center of the grill with the 3 crowns...correct?

In '65 I'm not sure about the difference between the Newport and Newport Custom. '68 I know of a few changes..

'67 was the first year for the Newport Custom.

The grille is identical for a Newp and a Custom.
