Don't understand why you would not drive the piss out of it.

I get kick out of "original miles"! Like there are some "un-original miles" on the truck that we're not talking about? <wink-wink>
Neat truck but I would have driven a bit, although maybe I'd of left a little piss in it. Ha!

PicsArt_12-24-10.15.54.jpgYou can buy a 2016 Ram with zero miles and in blue for that price.

Oh... And it's brand new... :D

But that 2016 would be lot heavier, and has way more computer control.

These were a big deal back in '96! Only could get them through the zone rep kinda like hellcats today. I had one for a demo and loved it. Sold it to a local racer named Dick Panter who raced a '68 Dart known as Old Trapper at Edmonton Speedway. He used it to tow the racer around. Great guy loved the Ram glad I could break it in for him!

Here is An article about Dick and the Old Trapper

I wonder if I'll be around 30 years from now when they start discussing how many Hurst trucks there are... and with 800 original miles...

because it was never intended to be used to begin with. Now what did it cost in 1996? Is the origional :poke: owner breaking even or not? Yet out of private collection sounds like flipper talk.

If I recall correctly we were selling these for $25-$27k CDN. However as time went on and inventory became plentiful we were blowing the last of them out around $22000 FWIW.

I would have been all over that had I known. I asked a few dealers if there was any new stuff in the works.

This isn't a factory available vehicle. They are taking a base Express truck and doing their own buildup to make this outstanding truck. Wish more Dealer Principals saw the value in these types of builds like Mr. Norms does. There are rumours of a SRT truck going around but as usual no info from Ma Mopar.

No 1500 Hellcat??

Been asked more times than I can count for one but no joy from the factory. Next will be the TrackHawk Gr Cherokee. Viper trucks are still bringing $25-$27K up here so I am quite sure FCA will vastly underestimate the demand for a Hellcat 1500 if they ever do build one....or is it market manipulation to maintain margin? ...supply/demand economics.

The "other shoe" I'm watching for is how the CAFE/EPA integrated fuel economy requirements will continue to kill off the possibilities for the factory to even run the bigger engines. When the EPA decide to adopt the CAFE requirements in the name of emission I knew we were F^&ked... now the only question is when will the manufacturers have to go from limited production to just cant build that.
