It seems that during the disassembly portion of a project the window molding trim clips are either forgotten, rusted, not identified properly, documented or go missing. (I am guilty of the of the missing documentation)
I would like to start this thread as a depository for Window Trim Clip retainers. That would readily show up in the search function.
I would like to see Original P/N, (use your part manuals folks) pictures and possibly measurements of the retainers, along with model year and make. Also if you have good window trim clip sources post them here as well.

1968 Polara DL vinyl top
Front window trim clip upper and side P/N 6001648 -Qty 16 pre drilled holes on my car. also fits Fury & Chrysler '67 & '68 - I am still identifying which ones they are so don't have pictures yet.
Rear window Top and Side molding P/N 6001084 - Qty 13 pre drilled holes. Also fits Fury and Chrysler '67 & '68 - I am still identifying
Here is where it gets tricky. Difference on some models with a vinyl top and varies by year.
Rear Window Bottom Molding for two tone or vinyl top P/N 6002206 - 8 pre-drilled holes 67 & 68 (Same as Coronet, Super Bee, Belvidere and Roadrunner for full window)

I did find that 521 Restorations has most of these in their glass section. 521 Restorations - Glass

The Fury kit below should be the same for the '68 polara with vinyl top. They do not have the Polara with the vinyl top listed separately.

I Have not found front window upper clips yet.

P/n 6001084, or 6002206 or 6001648?
I have some odd numbers and left overs for each scenario so cannot rule them out by counting.
I am thinking the green on the left are 6001084 for the rear window upper and side trim. If the picture above from 521 is to scale then the blue on the right must be 6001648 for the upper and side front window trim?
For some reason I don’t have any samples of 6002206 rear window lower trim for vinyl top or two tone. Maybe because when I sent it away with the rear window in and I couldn’t take them out?

I did some research today on the front windshield trim clips I will take a stab at it.
P/N 6001648 - Upper and side windshield trim clips for ' 68 C- bodies
In '68 the 2 & 4 door C-body sedans also use these on the rear window.
The 68 Plymouth fastop's, 4dr HT, and VIP's and the Dodge & Chrysler hard tops 2& 4 dr HT's use the rear window clips I mentioned above
In '67 these same clips (6001648) were used on the rear windows of the Belvidere I, II and Satillite 2 & 4 dr sedan rear window upper. GTX used them on the lower. Coronet (L) used them all around the rear window while the Charger used them on the upper and Lower.

Anyway I called 521 restorations and he put together a kit of 16 for me for my '68 Polara front window.
When I get my clips I will take pictures with measurements and P/N's for reference.

I am going crazy. I was off.
I cannot edit my original posts so I will try to clear it up here.
I think the restoration shop found some clips on the floor and put them in a bag. Or the factory put the rear lowers all the way around in August of ‘67.

‘68 Polara 2dr HT Vinyl roof.
Front upper and side p/n 6001648 original green on right.

Rear lower w/vinyl p/n6002206

Rear upper and side (used all around if no vinyl or two tone) p/n 6001084
They are a hair taller than the bottom ones. I don’t have an original sample.

I guess my original posts are too old to correct.

Those clips look pretty much like what I term "generic GM" windshield molding clips. Used on lots of GM cars in the '60s and '70s.

Thanks for the pictures and info,
