I'm getting ready to have the windshield and rear glass installed in my 72 Polara. I was talking to an old timer recently and he warned me not to let them use a calking gun to load up the channel, said these cars used a bead either 3/8" or 5/16". Does it depend on the model or the car itself? I see the parts book has both listed A/R.
I just did the rear on my 69 and used the 5/16 butyl rope. Trim sits nice and I think 3/8 would have caused problems
