Wiper arm removal 69 Fury

Ok, I need to remove the wiper arms from a 69 Fury III to gain access to the wiper linkage transmission. How do they come off?

Lift up, insert nail, push down, walaa

Ok, maybe not that simple.
Look at the arms right at the pivot and you'll see a hole, find a nail or drill bit that will fit snugly in there when the arm is lifted away from the glass.
Lift the arm and pit the pin in the hole, all the way through. Then push back down on the arm, this should release the lock.
You may need to assist the removal a little but do not force it, they should just pop off.
