Woodward in the Imperial Tux

Off to the Woodward show for a couple of days in Tux.
All cleaned up, checked out and ready to go this morning.
Anyone else going?
Going to Moparfest Sunday morning on the way home from Detroit, I wish the two shows were not on simitalious weekends.

My shop is less Than a mile off Woodward near 14 mile. Where are you staying? I will be out for a bit early Saturday but have a wedding that afternoon so I will miss most of it which is fine because I’m pretty burnt out after so many years. I might do some cruising later today and will be out on Friday evening in Berkeley for their classic car parade but will have(hopefully) my 90 year old father in the car so it’ll be straight there and straight home afterwards.

Very cool. I am in the parade, I was invited by one of the Canadian scouts, I guess that what is.
I am on N Updike at the Hyatt.
Maps shows I am 25 min north of 14 and Woodward.
I'll drop by if there is an invite

That's one badd *** Imperial @Boydsdodge. @detmatt very cool to open up your shop to help out a fellow Imperial owner. Your a class act. Family medical problems kept me away this year. Will see you next year. Post more pics if you have them.

Tux is in bed by 10, getting crazy out on Woodward and surrounding streets.

Back home from Woodward. I split from Woodward at 4pm Saturday because of coming rain and all day rain Sunday. Tux has not been wet as far as I know for many years, other then my washing of the immediate area. no seam soaking washes on Tux.
Here are some photos I was able to get from Woodward. Not many as I am the driver and passengers suck at taking pics during the cruising.
The ferry ride with some friends across the St Clair river to Michigan USA.

Tux has returned to Detroit after many years since her beginning for a good nights sleep.
Then off to see some old friends from the hood.

Friday eve we Staged in Roseland Park Cemetery for the Berkley/Woodward parade of cars. Thousands of people lined the streets to see the great cars. All of the cars were of very high quality.
Tux received many shout outs along the parade from young and old, it was a great time. (I like the red one off to the side of Tux at the cemetery(Not the truck))
I took plenty of video of parade, I will post on youtube shortly. Tux back to bed by 10 after a fun parade and some hot street cruising all day.

I see now I was not able to get any good photos from the side of Woodward, our location on Woodward was on a strip that cars travel at 50mph. Getting good shots did not happen this trip.
I bought tickets with the Dodge/ Direct Connection and Hemi Nsanity group. Dodge brought out the last of there big fast Chargers and Challengers, with a bunch of go fast goodies for all to drool over. Mmmm Hemi Imperial....
Oh. That 70 Charger is completely Carbon Fibre.

On the way home now waiting to board the ferry back to Canada, then on the ferry across. It was a fun few days, the drive was great, Tux was great and showed many the beauty and power of an Imperial.

Since I'm not done with my top project, I was just a spectator this year. Hit 6 or 7 different spots, but didn't get quite as far north as where you were. I was mostly doing video, but did take some photos.
