Car crusher coming soon.
All cars will be crushed!!!!
Not a lot of good project cars, but many good parts cars. Core piles, sheet metal etc. Many C bodies and few A bodies. I know the guy who runs the car crusher company and spoke with him about being able to buy cars or parts and he said he would work with me.!

THIS is the type of stuff that is invaluable. 999 paint with 041 paint code. A2 level trim code. Must be a fleet car of some sort.
PLEASE save as many physical fender tags as you can or at least take pictures.

Thank you!

I see some '66 Imperial Grilles that i could use.

This yard is not to far from me.
I had been awhile since I had been there. They were VERY pricey and very disorganized.
County was always after them to cleanup and close them down. Owner had a bad attitude towards customers. Car crushing outfit may be reasonable?
It’s along a riverbed with cars stuffed in riverbank for erosion. Nothing newer than 1960!

I’ve got at least one full grille I don’t need from my parts car and maybe another half stashed away.

68 dodge was in decent shape. Steel yard Crush price on a full size American car is about $400-500. Maybe a bit more on a 64-66 imperial.
When I asked a price on cars he said.
(Just because I’m going to crush them doesn’t mean I’m going to give them away)
I think there still working out details between yard owner and car crushing company who bought contents of yard.
This is when all the car guys show up to buy cars and parts and nobody can figure out why all the sudden interest in this junk?
Once the actual car crusher arrives the car collector guys will just be in the way.
I will push him for a per car price next time I’m there

Heck, if it's all going to be sadly crushed, the least they could do is throw a wheel barrow sale a week or two before the crusher shows up.
