My wife hated the 200 loaned to us by the insurance company. She harassed the agent for an upgrade to no avail. Was it intended to be a fleet vehicle?

Yeah, no real use for the 4 cylinder, like a small block c body. My sister does not like the 200s she rents for work, guess thats why she bought a hemi 300.
When is this supposed to happen and when do the big incentives start might be a good time to buy a 200?

Sergio was referring to the product plan through to 2018. What started all this is that the 200 and Dart were not shown past the 2018 model. It also did not show the Chrysler 100 which was expected to be built. If you only have so much plant capacity I can see why he wants to devote it to the most profitable models and outsource the low margin stuff but like the 90's when you give up control of your product to another don't ***** when they produce crap with your name on it. Currently all the focus for FCA is about getting Alfa launched in North America. That will be the car brand while the rest while be CUV SUV Trucks and Vans made by Ma Mopar. Dodge will have the big 3 cars and thats it. Urban Assault Vehicles will be next just in time for the climate change induced Zombie apocalypse!
Umm big incentives? The funny thing is that we have 2 maybe 3 more years to keep selling these cars but with this announcment Dealers wont order them in fear the consumer wont buy a discontinued model thus creating an earlier than expected demise IMO. New Hellcat allocation requirement ...10 Darts 10 200's 10 Promasters = 1 Hellcat ya dont laugh it will happen

Is there really a problem with the 200? I don't really keep track of new cars. These cars have to have more personality than a Camry.
Actually the 200 is a great car at the higher trim level. AWD C's are very nice but $40K CDN makes them a bit pricey. Most of our buyers are loyal Chrysler folks very few conquest sales from imports even though they drive so much better. The car just suffers from poor marketing and inferiority complex. The Chevy Crude is no where as nice neither is the Fucus but they sell better ...
A person I know (not a close friend) that buys a lot of trucks from the local Dodge dealer told me that he bought a new 2015 Charger R/T with a 5.7 for $32k. Is that possible? I believe the window sticker was $42k something.

Didn't consumer reports give the 200 the rating as the worst car is the US?
I don't know if you heard about the class action lawsuit against FCA for asking Dealers to report unsold vehicles to themselves as loaners or demos in exchange for "marketing money" so that FCA can keep this stupid streak of growth going. If a Dealer reports a vehicle as sold into his "Demo Fleet" FCA was handing out big cash up here so I assume it was the same in the US. If your friend bought a reported car even though it had no miles on it there was likely a hefty rebate from FCA making it that cheap. BTW that car up here would be $48000 MSRP and go for around $40k CDN on that program. Dont kid yourself Phord and Govmint Motors do the same thing.
If you are not an import you will never do well in that Rag. Unbiased my ***. They were giving Toyota top marks without ever testing it. Hyundai cheats on fuel mileage and VW are polluting the ozone but still get rated high. Bunch of bullchit. They trashed the 4cyl with good reason but the V6 with the 9speed is great! This is what happens when meeting govmint guidelines is more important than building good cars! End of rant!
