Hi all - glad to find your site!

Am embarking on the Imperial search - prefer 72-73 era - but love C-bodies overall and willing to keep an open mind!

Location: south carolina

Thanks! I'm turning 50 this year and just remember the Imperials ( and Continentals) were what the TV detectives/lawyers drove. Thought they were the greatest cars as a kid!

Now it is time to scour the world to find that Imperial that's calling me.....

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! This is where all the car guys with good taste in fine automobiles hang out.

There is a 68 Imperial listed on Ebay - pictures look good (so far) - but think the seller will look for an outrageous amount to make reserve

Chrysler: Imperial LeBaron

The nice thing is that there a lot of trained eyes vs. mine - sometimes I leave my critical mind steps aside when something that looks that nice comes up.

That's a nice Imp!

P.S.
Regardless of how awesome that car is, I would not recommend getting it over the one you really want (an early 70's IMP). A nicer, cleaner, more lusted after car will undoubtedly show up soon afterward. Just my 2¢.

True - I need to be patient, but at the same time I don't want to turn my nose up at something really nice.

I really do like the Imps from '66 to '73 - some of the 300s, too

The only 72 I've seen (not a project car) is from Teds Tuna Boats: Ted's Tuna Boats

b/w that '68 and the '72 - that '68 wins (at least from pictures)
