1972 Dodge Monaco full size station wagon. Six passenger. Very good to great condition overall. Tan exterior with "woodgrain" appliques and light brown interior. Exterior paint is 100% original and in good/very good condition, the "woodgrain" sides are somewhat faded. A good polish/wax job would work miracles on such a good and solid base. There is a very small ding on the passenger side rear quarter panel by the tail light. The three section tail light lens is cracked in the middle section and has been repaired with lens tape. Script letters (Dodge) on the tailgate were loose and were removed in order not to lose them. Have most of them in a bag in the glovebox. I just broke the glass in the tailgate by accident, therefore I'm reducing the selling price. (A complete tailgate with glass has been located from a reputable salvage yard - Murray Park - priced at approximately $700+-. Not included). Car has no/very little rust (California car). Interior condition is in great shape (cabin) and good to fair condition in the (utility) rear compartment. No tears or rips in the seats/door panels which all present extremely well. Same with the carpet, despite some fading in places such as the cargo area floor panels. Hard vinyl rear wheel covers show some scratches and slight fading/wear. Glass and rubber are in great condition, except a small crack on the passenger side of the windshield. Original 440 CU V8 and 727 Torque Flite automatic transmission operate well. Car has only 42,850 miles (believed to be original based on overall condition of the car).
Car runs fairly well, but may need a tune-up and a mechanical check (brakes, etc.) to get it to the next level. Early 70's MOPAR wagons (and coupes) are very hard to find; this wagon is as nice as you would wish to find. Absolutely 100% original, 99.9% complete and unbelievably low miles. Very little to do to thoroughly enjoy this automobile at car shows and on cruises (not to mention a potential trip to Wally World!)
Quite reasonably priced (several times less than a restoration costs to obtain a similarly awesome wagon). This car is most affordable and all ready to go and be enjoyed. PRICE REDUCED now asking only $9,950 negotiable.
Thinning out collection and also selling several other early 70's C Body MOPARS/full size station wagons as well as several Cadillac Coupe DeVille 2 door hardtops.
