I would remove the door cards on the ones you think are needing service and unplug the whip in between the switches and the motor so that you can easily introduce 12 volts to them as if they were on the bench. That’s a good start but he will likely need to get the motor/regulator assemblies on the bench so they can be seperated and cleaned thoroughly and re-greased. That includes getting inside the electric motor itself.

After you get new springs ditch those air shocks, or even sooner! The rear shock crossmember on these cars was not meant for the stress air shocks can put on it. If the springs are that bad you are already transferring all that load to the crossmember.

I have the complete rear axle with leaf spring assembly that I pulled from the 1966 convertible and it does not have these isolators. They are definitely 1967, 1968 and I would be willing to bet. Also used in 1969 and possibly later.
