I am Looking for a AM Radio, Model 253 out of a 1968 Dodge Polara/ Monaco.
Thumb wheels and tuner must turn freely.
Chrome on sides of thumb wheels must be in good shape with no peeling or bubbling. Same with push buttons. No to very minimal pitting on the faceplate preferred. I am looking for a better core than mine for a radio conversion. Mine looks ok from the front, but concerned about the volume gears which have lost some teeth and the peeling of the thumb wheel Chrome.
Yes there is one on E-bay, but awaiting answers to my questions above.
