'77 NYB - horn bracket removal

Hi all,

The HI horn on my car is deader than Harold Stassen's presidential campaign. I see a pair of the correct Sparton Model U horns on eBay but they don't have the mounting brackets. I'm looking at my dead horn and don't see a way to remove the bracket from it to put on a new unit. Can it be done?

You can remove the old brackets by drilling the spot welds, but installing it on another horn would be another story. I don't see an easy way that's practical.

I suggest giving Murray Park a try at Murray B. Park - Used and NOS Parts for Chrysler, Imperial, Dodge, Desoto, and Plymouth for a proper replacement.
