A518 4wd to 2wd?

I'm planning to change my TF727 for an A518, I've been looking for the tranny (I don't live in the US) but have only found 4WD not 2WD, so I was wondering: Is there any chances to convert a 4WD A518 to a 2WD swapping the tranny tail?

if so, where can I buy online a complete A518 2WD tail? I've been looking for it on ebay but there are only housings not the complete unit

You might have some luck calling a few transmission rebuilers who may have a tail section laying around.

I am not sure but I believe the tail shaft is different also.

Fortunately Found an 2WD unit right now I'm waiting it to arrive from rebuild shop

That's great, it will be easier than having to source the parts to convert the 4wd unit.

I found a complete 2WD unit so I'm not going to try to swap a 2WD tail into a 4WD tranny but according to a tranny rebuilder I asked about it, the 2wd tranny should work but only if is a complete unit
