I see the coolest things being worked on in the jukebox service store. This is a 40s record player which can play both sides of up to 12 stacked records. It had 2 speeds and 2 tone arms to play both 78 and 33 speed records.
This is a working version of a similar Capehart.

Amazing! I never heard of a Capehart record player. Musta been a very high-end item back in the day.

I had never heard of them either, very high end. This was the "cheap" model around $1000 in the late 40s. That was a bunch of cash. I think he said the were models that were in the $2,500 range.
