OK... Why am I posting a Buick?
This particular Buick is rare.
It is a full sized body on frame rear wheel drive V8.
AS GOD INTENDED.
Because I want it.

The black buick just screams mobster to me. I love it! Too bad about the dent in the quarter.

This one caught my interest out here. This was the year where the Delta 88, this one a Regency Brougham, was actually bigger than the 98. Also full size rear wheel drive with 47,000 miles

My family had a 78 four door 98 growing up. I always wanted a 88 or 98 2 door.

The federal bumper standards ruined all the cars of everything the designers originally conceived.

My parents had a '85 Olds 88 with the 307 four barrell they all had. What a dog, the trans is constantly shifting and your foot is in the gas pedal to the floor. Also the 305 and 307 motors were terrible for failing early. Usually close to 100,000 they would suck alot of oil. Keep that in mind and test drive it.

Here is an almost exact example of my '81 deVille.
It had in it...

Wait for it

.....a V6.

I had a 80 delta 88 2 door with a crappy 5.7 diesel, when it started using more oil then fuel the diesel gave way to a 455 olds. With the 2.41 highway gear it had it cruised nice on the freeway

The 307 changed some from 1984 to 1985 mainly in the port size of the heads. The 84 heads had the larger ports but the 85 ports were swirled for better velocity. Their problem was the rear ends which could be 2.14, 2.2.9 or 2.41 . Getting them up to a 3.23 would have helped your parents car. If they had a 2.14 then they had a slug. The Hurst/Olds and 442 had 3.73 rears with their 307.
