I thought I would have a look at the Mecum auction results and offers when I saw this very nice 65 300L. Sold for $82,500

A very nice 300L with unique options at a unique price ;)
I've never seen a second power antenna on a 300L (the data book doesn't say anything about it either). Does anyone know if you could order this from the factory, or was the driver side antenna installed by the dealer just like the dual carburetors?

It was from a member here , remember the car did have extra mirrors on the fenders when he found it....
Saw it in Carlisle 2017.

I had a good look at this beauty at Kissimmee. Damn nice.

I'm friends with the owner of the "Deering Musclecar Collection". Deering Collection I was sitting with him when his 15K mile, perfect 71 Hemi Cuda 4 speed went for $600K.....which elicited a happy fist-bump!

Most of his other cars sold well too, except his unrestored 5000 mile, V-Code Superbird that topped out at $375K, well shy of his reserve. That one goes to Glendale in a Mecum transporter where he'll test his reserve again.

Certainly a very nice car. Gee, if this went for $82.5 wonder what mine might bring lol. Less factory options than on my 4 spd L. Dual antenna definitely dealer/owner installed.
