Hello -
This car is for sale not too far from me. I need another car like I need a hole in the head, but I kinda like this one. Asking price is $13K. Here's the description:
A very rare early Mopar muscle car. This is still one of the top 50 fastest production vehicles from the 60s. This car comes with its 100% original matching numbers drivetrain. The 426 street wedge engine runs great. The factory 4 speed shifts like butter. I've done some talking to people and this looks as if this is one of 40 cars made. The body is pretty nice and straight. Only needs minor patching on the drivers side quarter and pass front fender bottom. All the interior is there except the door panels, which are available reproduction. Needs a little cowl work and repair around the Dutchman panel. This is a factory console bucket seat car with tachometer. All the trim but one piece is there and in good shape. The floor pans have been replaced. A very nice job with rust free factory pans. This car only has 73k on the clock. I believe it's original mileage. This was one step below a Max wedge car. It has the fender tag as well proving the authenticity of it.
Opinions on the asking price?
What is a "Dutchman panel"?
Thanks....
Chris
