Two heater cores

I have a 1966 Polara That appears to have two heater cores can anybody explain please??? Sorry bout the tape.

I think you only have one heater core. The other tubes are for the water valve that is operated by the ''cold-----hot'' lever on your heater control.
 
One hose from the engine goes through the firewall, through a valve, and then back out the firewall.
It then loops back through the firewall, through the heater core, and then back out the firewall again to return to the engine.
I only know this because Rexus explained it to me when I asked the same question on a '67 300 I was looking at.
 
How difficult is it to change this type of heater core, has anybody done it? Any help I can get it would be great thank you
