This is one of those cars that I said I'd never sell but unfortunately the car has been sitting way more than it should the last couple of years. I'm trying to buy my brothers 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible (which I borrowed this summer from him and drove almost every day) and that is the only reason I'm selling it. If it doesn't sell it won't break my heart, have had this thing for 10+ years now and don't think I'll ever find another one.

Yes this is a real 4 door 4 speed car. I've traced back the history to day one and have the Chrysler Historical docs on it, fender tag, certicard, etc etc. The first owner went into Bryant Motors in Renton, Washington in December of 1966 to buy a new car. He went in with his son and they saw a brand new red 440 4 Speed 1967 GTX on the showroom floor and the sons says "Dad let's get that car!" and the Dad replys "no son, we need to get a family car" so they ordered up this Fury. It is a 1967 Plymouth Fury III 4 door in QQ1 red. Not a ton of options on it, bumper guards, AM radio, rear speaker, 383-4 engine, cloth red interior. It was originally manual steering but a previous owner changed it to power which isn't a bad thing in my mind.

The car is starting to get a little tired and could use some work. That's the biggest reason I have not been driving it more and it is what it is. It runs great and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere but it could use a front end pretty soon and some other things. Put some F78-14 white walls on it that look great.

I'm only posting the car on this board in the hope that a real C-Body enthusiast will get the car. I'm heading to MCACN tomorrow so if anybody is going to be there and wants to discuss the car that would be great. Asking $8k for it. Hard to price a car this unique so let's start there and see where it goes. The car is in Shelton, Washington.

That is probably the most unique C-body I have ever seen come thru this forum.
I understand the part about only posting it here.
I truly hope a member here grabs that car.
Best of luck with finding a proper new home for it.

I love it! I'd keep the fury. The vert is neat, but I don't think its near as cool as this.

Oh man, that thing is cool. Best of luck on the sale.

Well I have a 68 Sport Fury 440 4 Speed convertible so that will satisfy my stick C-Body cravings for a little while. It's the one from the Charles Kee Estate sale. Big project though.

That is a cool looking car. I love the body color steel wheels with the dog dish caps. And it is a 4 door with a big block and a 4 speed. Wow!

I have a picture with the original owners :) The wife was the main driver of the car. She was a 5' Tall 2nd grade teacher and her students loved her "hot rod". A 5' tall 2nd grade teacher driving a manual steering, manual brake, manual trans 67 Fury everyday.

Holy ****! that thing is awesome. I don't think I ever wanted a 4-Door so bad in my life.

A friend had one like it back in the late 80's early 90's . It was a lighter blue color with light blue interior, but was a 440 4 speed with a dana 60 with 3.54 gears and had disc brakes and A/C as well. I found it behind a Toyota dealer, the guy that awned it was a mech there and had been sitting a long time as he said the frront disc brakes were locked up and he could not find a caliper rebuild kit for them. The guys dad was a Chrysler exec and he ordered it up like that. My buddy and I loaded it on a trailer, which was really tough with stuck front brakes! We found a rebuild kit in town and had it on the road the next day! It was such a cool car and really fast, we would take it down to the river bottoms and race it against all kinds of camaros and mustangs etc. It ended up burning up and getting crushed inside a storage building back in like 92 or 93. I wish I had a picture of it!

This car used to be in my stable. I drove for about 2.5 years, and loved every minute of it.

I do miss it and think it is a good car. It's not rusty and has some small issues but over all it's a good car. It will draw more attention than a Superbird at a show.

The story of why the original owner ordered a 4 door, 4-speed is true. I talked to him personally.

I'd buy it back in a heart beat, but I have no room for it and am restoring 3 cars currently.

If anyone wants any info I have on the car, send me a PM.

These are photos of when I had the car. It's about the same condition as when I had it, maybe the paint is a little bit more faded.

Super rare MoPar here guys/gals!!! From experience I can say there is NOTHING like driving a 4-speed C-body.

A very cool and unusual car!

I know a 2 dr. would get that money.
Now the question is, is it worth more or less because it's a 4 dr.

If it was a 2dr you'd be tempted to "dress it up" with chrome and maybe fancy wheels. However a 4dr is the ultimate sleeper so you'd tend to just drive it everywhere and have a blast.

I personally think a 4 door is worth more than a 2 door 4 speed but obviously I'm a little biased. Haven't had one inquiry on the car yet, is this just too small a community to advertise in? That 440 4 speed 66 Fury wagon got over $10k a couple of years ago. While this isn't a 440 it's the biggest engine you could get in a 4 door in 1967.

Came sooo close to sending you a PM the other day but the freaking dollar held me back. Right now $US = $CAD x 1.37 which sucks for us north of the 49th. Adding in the trip to the left coast to pick it up and another 5% federal tax at the border, it just isn't feasible anymore.

But l sure do like that car of yours. Thanks for posting here first and best of luck with the sale. Terry
