Putting my NYB up for sale

That dealer, Gesswein Motors, was hard and heavy trying to buy that red Imp with the smashed quarter panel.
Gesswein is 10 miles from my home town. They have some really nice cars. I've never paid much attention to their prices but they have some beautiful Chrysler products for sure.

Yes they do, but have had the same cars on the lot for years. Doesn't appear that they sell any of the Mopar's.

Yes they do. And it's free enterprise at its best.
Buy obscenely low - sell obscenely high.

Actually. I erred in my statement. They sell squat at their obscenely high prices.
But you would find them too if you had a low paid underling stalking every ad and lead 24/7 and then bully them endlessly on the phone AND you had a new car store to pick up the tab on your personal hobby.

That's a pretty interesting business model. Seems like it'd be pretty tough to make money if you don't sell some cars.

Thats one I'd like to have, buy a bunch of Mopars and never sell any.....whats wrong with that?

As mentioned, he's a successful new car dealer, they're in reality, his hobby and collection, and "offers" them for sale as a draw to his showroom and most likely uses them as a business expense on his taxes.

I remember Gesswein motors as a kid but I don't remember them having so many cool cars. But then again there were cool used cars everywhere back then.

There wasn't a new car dealer for quite a few miles from there so everybody tended to keep their stuff on the road.

That's the Minnesota/South Dakota border so it's about four hours from Minneapolis and four hours from Sioux Falls. Not much in between.

It's a great place to grow up but not so easy to make a living there.
