My first thought was someone wanted to destroy a motor by dropping something down the carb.
14mm... went through the spark plug hole... an idiot with an ignition key could do that.

I guess that since there are no indentations directly surrounding the broken tap nearby in the aluminum piston casting is what caught my attention...
It's perfectly potted all around the tap is what i am seeing.
I would expect a big hole to be blasted around it or indented pretty badly.

I see what you're saying, but it also has a few light impressions on the piston, and one bigger one where it likely broke off...

What I find most disturbing is whoever did this, didn't think the head was worthy of a few pics... I predict another "fresh rebuild" car for sale in the near future.
