Making the window raise when the tailgate is down will likely break the glass unless you are supporting it in some way! not sure what kind of jumper wire you rigged so thought i would caution you about that.
No, that's not correct. The passages are fine. I bench tested the carb and it works great when first rebuilt. Good stream and the spring is able to return the pump back into the resting position. It works great on the car for a short period of time but then after having been exposed to the fuel...
I have rebuilt my 2 bbl carb twice now. Both kits had the leather pump and they have both swelled up to tight once they are exposed to the gas. I can work the pump by hand but the spring is not strong enough to work it alone. anyone else had this issue lately? looks like this is an older post.
After zooming in on your tailgate photo looks like you dont have the right number of screw holes for the carpet and metal strips. Looks like it matches the ad photo. But hard to tell for sure from the photos.
TXDon,
If your car had the carpet and metal strips like our T&Cs then you should have screw holes that match what you see in my photos. Of course there are slight differnces in the number of panels that would have been in a car with the 3rd row seat vs the trunk. But most of the panels are the...
Looks great, too nice to not have the back done for sure. After looking at my wagon this morning I see that only the tail gate panels have the screws and washers at the corners in addition to the strips. The other panels are only held in place by the metal strips. On my wagon and probably yours...
Hello TxDon,
I did a good bit of interior work on my 66 T&C, hated to do it cause it was so original but couldnt stand the couple of small rips in the drivers seat. Anyway, I will try to help you with this. Give me a day or two to get some pictures for you. The metal strips are going to be the...
Found a listing for new Mopar exterior door handles for 1965-68 Newports, New yorker and 300s and other mopars. But the site doesnt list them as fitting the T&C. Does anyone know if the T&C door handles are the same as these other models. The handles on my 66 have some slight pitting and i would...
Anyone have experiance changing the tail lights on a 66 T&C. Seems impossible to get the lens off without having to take the tail gate trim off first which is a difficult process that involves getting access to the inside of the tail gate.
