i have a 1966 chrysler newport convertible that i’m going to be replacing the floor pans and carpet but i’m looking online for carpet and some say it won’t fit the convertible, is there any difference between 4door/2door carpet and convertible carpet or is that bs?

don’t worry yall i won’t leave texas red to someone who doesn’t want it, it’ll be my kids choice if they wanna be interested in it and i’ll be more than happy to help them get their own project if they want to fix something up, i won’t ever want to sell it but one day if there’s still a market...

value of the car isn’t much of a concern, i’ll never sell it! i’m planning on giving this car to my grandchildren one day and teaching my kids and grandkids how to work on them

i have a 1966 chrysler newport convertible that i want to turn into a fast full sized muscle car and there’s a few things i’m thinking about. how much weight reduction can i do and still have it look stock, im thinking fiberglass panels but id like to keep the interior as stock as possible...
