That's a whole lot of coinage. I sold my 70 300 conv. in April 2011 for $12,500. It was original paint, interior, etc. with 87,000 miles.

Can't believe it was a no sale. 4 yrs ago that car would've brought an easy $30K.

1955 Chrysler New Yorker, 4 door sedan. Total production: 33,342. 331 Hemi, 4 bbl, rated at 250 HP. Imperials have a completely different grill, bumper, hood, chassis, etc.

Looks like a 1955 New Yorker, not an Imperial. That would make it a 331 Hemi.

One just sold on ebay for $18.

How about some pictures of the bad side? And all the issues that will need work. Plus if the interior is good, let see some of them.

I'm a B and C body guy. I have to believe guys that remove their big blocks for some A,B,E project just have no respect for our barges. No doubt they've ever driven one for any period of time to enjoy the ride and luxury they offer. I'm especially disappointed when the "donor car" is a 2 door...

I like survivors. You know exactly what you're getting without any hidden shoddy body work. Original interiors, especially leather that's held up as nice as this one, are awesome. My ebay experience says he should have started it at $5000 with whatever reserve he could live with. Get folks...

I like to throw a lot of info out there to make myself sound smart. Of course, I don't have any friends except in cyberland. If I get the chance I throw my arrogance out there for all to enjoy.
