Where do you search? aka No one shall buy/sell/trade without the Mark of Zuckerberg

Fb market place keeps track of what you have already looked at and thinks you want to look at similar items. The more random junk you click on, the worse it gets. It gets worse, I have a mate who has a trans am, type that into fb and get 2 real items, type in corvette, get the nearly dozen...

Sniper EFI into 78 400cid C-Body - been there, done that - thoughts

The lack of mpg gain is an interesting note What are you getting out of it? What sort of afr numbers are you getting? I know TQ's are a good bit of kit and if it was set up well then the rest of it will come back to the inherent design of the intake and flow distribution, but im kinda surprised...

    Rebuilding 383 engine

Just putting it out there, but... A 496 bottom end kit from 440 source is only $2400 - you may be able to achieve it cheaper with a mix of other components bought piecemeal, depends on your procurement skills and what your local balance shop charges. You would not be able to swap another thing...

    Propane Power

The 14:1 was a bit on the extreme side, 12:1 is more reasonable for a petrol engine. The research octane of lpg varies a bit by location and brand, but is generally listed at 110 RON here in oz, much higher than even our high $$ premium. So same deal as a normal car - you dont get what you...

    Propane Power

LPG likes compression, if you can build a dedicated engine, 14-15:1 will get you to the similar power as petrol. The other way to get to the equiv compression is via forced induction, they get on well as the lpg has a natural cooling effect. We even have some places doing lpg into turbo diesels...

Ported and or extrude honed HP exhaust manifolds

Easy, spend the $800 on custom built headers at a reputable shop. If it goes tic tic tic afterwards, they will have to fix it.

Putting your car on a diet -- ideas on where to shave weight

If your going to get serious about it, scale the car. The C's have a much lager/heavier trunk area than "regular" cars and more of the weight is in the centre of the car, pulling 200 off the front may screw with the balance of the car more than you think

Putting your car on a diet -- ideas on where to shave weight

Not sure how it changes over the years, but a 11.75 disc brake set up dose weigh more than a 11x2.5 drum brake set up by a few lbs, cant remember exact numbers, but i have had both on the same scales in the same hour Yes it is hard with a C, but I think the percentage thinking is wrong, a lb is...

    Electric Car Rant.............sort of

And they have just figured how to make oil that a normal refinery can process from water and sunlight via algae Nature releases way more co2 than humans - what we have done is screwed over its way of getting rid of it, Saw a bit on the news the other day where we can help that with kelp farms...
