    Thank you all. Got the ashtray out and then removed the "thing". Someone spent alot of time mounting it inside ashtray. No markings. no idea what it was for. I will just have to live with the mystery.

    So, I put the first full tank of gas under my ownership. Drove 100 miles and after a rest found maybe 10 ounces of fuel leaked at vents while car sat for an hour (Eldebrock 800 cfm carb) . Any ideawhat could cause this ? Also if tank is broken and not repairable any recommendations of...

    Question on how to repair a bouncy speedo needle - 68 Crown Imperial w/ Auto pilot

    Removed the two cables connected to auto pilot, sprayed in liquid white lithium, held cables in high position for an hour. Results improved but at 45 mph the speedo needle jumps all over the place. Seeking advise on what else I can do ? Thank You, Andy
