Wow, that does sound like a lot of fun. I'd bring my 65 Sport Fury but it is still in race trim and would likely not fit in with the group. I can't really make it this year anyway as I am assisting a long time friend with putting a lift kit in his 85 Ram W150. Good luck with the run, weather...

Just an FYI, my 65 Sport Fury Convertible (big block auto) did not come with torque boxes, front or rear. I do plan to add them but, from the factory they are not there. I can't say if the rockers have thicker metal and I am not familiar with what the 'door wedges' are.

There are two different sizes of thrust bearings. I don't know what year they changed. The smaller diameter flange will fit any RB block but the larger diameter will only fit on the blocks machined for the larger diameter. Just make certain that the thrust bearing fits your engine.

Does an "Evil Twin" count?
