Another question if nobody knows of seat foam. has anybody done a seat swap that was easy-ish and looks good even though they are not the correct seat for the car ?
I'm looking for a set of the bolts that hold the back of the seat to the bottom, any ideas of where I can get them ? They are for a 71 Chrysler 300 with high back buckets.
I rebuilt my bottom end with 10:1 comp, then picked up the Edelbrock RPM top end kit and I ended up at about $8000 I think. That's new heads, intake, carb, rocker arms.
After reading other posts here I have decided to use Brad Penn oil, it seems to be one of the better. I have 2 questions for everybody.
1st question - 20W50 or straight 30 weight, I'm in California so not many cold days.
2nd question - With using the better oil is there any up or down side...
Anybody know where to get one or something equal. I would like the tune up specs for a 440. i have Chilton's but the space for the 440 doesn't include timing specs for some reason.
I think the timing should be set for 10 - 12 BTDC at idle, and 38 at about 3000 rpms. Is this correct ?
