The car came with a new column as the original was busted. Has anyone replaced one with a after market? Mine is a CPP brand with the 1" DD end looking to adapt to fit. Should I look for a rag joint or just use u joints on each end with a solid shaft?
This is the motor I was talking about in my other thread. I know it is definitely a poly. On these old motors is there numbers that say anything special about them or are they all the same?
Nothing online is real clear on the old poly motors. I have a 1966 Fury iii the engine says 2468230 and I also found B318 2 7.
I picked up a used motor from a estate sale it says 2468230 B318 7 22.
Everything I see online says it should say P318 but they for sure say B318.
Any thoughts? Or em...
I bought a 1966 Fury iii the trunk was way full of parts. I for the life of me cant find where these parts came from. Any ideas? Maybe they are for a different car?
I do not have one. I bought the car completely gutted of wires. I'm doing one of the painless kits but luckily I seen a post about needing to limit voltage before I hooked up the cluster. It's just not clear do I limit just the fuel and temp or the full cluster.
On my 1966 Fury do I hook the voltage limiter to the fuel and temp gauge only? Or do I limit the voltage to the entire cluster? Sorry if I sound dumb this is all new to me I have never rewired a car or anything for that matter.
