Rewiring my 1970 D200 with a painless harness. Doing away with dash oil, temp, amp gauges and instead using aftermarkets. Painless doesn't supply a dedicated wire for a volt gauge. Am thinking off just adding one to the switched "on" side of the ignition switch that feeds the fuse block and...
Only limitations a person has is the ones they set on themselves. I learned that decades ago in the Marine Corp. It just might take more time to learn what you think is impossible o do. Other people do it so why can't I ?
Really, they are easy to rebuild if you have a hobby garage. Nice 14 part tutorial on youtube and the one book that gives inch pound torque specs. You can miss something on everything you rebuild and have to do it over again. Carbs, fuel pumps, power steering pumps. These things are not...

318 is a perfect cruising motor. I am not going to do stop light drags with it. I would build a 440 and throw it in a junker like we used to do in the late 70's if i wanted to do that
Late to this thread. Rebuilt the entire system on a 63 880 which is basically a chrysler. New master I "bench bleed" with some lines I made up in the car. Your foot is better then a screwdriver and a vice. Change everything now and don't think the right hose is fine or the left looks ok. They...
Installed for 3 years or sat and then installed after 3 years ? Cylinder could have a rust ridge. FYI I just did total and complete lines on a 63 880 last month and the main metal line leading to the rear was completely stopped up. Held 40 pounds of vacuum.
