My first Mopar : '68 Chrysler 300...needs a lot of love...

Congratulations and welcome aboard! I think you got a good trade, the car looks pretty nice. It sounds like you did a lot of work to it already. The chrome looks good and I like the hub caps, and the tires look new or newer. I wouldn't invest too much in it and just drive it for now. You're a...

I want it, I want it bad......

Beautiful car, and the engine compartment looks nice except for the black overspray by the brake power booster, you can see it was sprayed while on the car and not masked off well. Maybe I'm being to picky, but that just looks like a rush job that should have been left as is.

Very nice, you're moving right along and that is a nice garage and lift! It will be much more enjoyable working on the car. I like Rock Auto too! Joe

    Selling the 300....

I think he planned on keeping it for a while, if not he would have left the title open. He's a young guy too, and I don't fault him one bit, if he makes a few bucks on the car good for him. He got a good deal on it and did some work to it, he didn't have to mention on this list that his selling...

    14" Whitewalls

That's why I bought blackwalls in 14", I prefer the 1" whitewall for my car but didn't want to spend that kind of money. I bought some vintage 14" Cal custom wire wheel hubcaps to help the look of the blackwalls. I only put on one so far and it looks pretty nice from a distance.lol

    Help needed!!!! 62 Newport

You could take your old one to Napa and have them send it out for a rebuild too. I found one online from Auto Zone for my 63 New Yorker, I picked it up from a local store and brought my old one in for the core charge. It looked a little different than mine, so in hind sight I probably would have...

    RH mirror for C body

Thanks Mike, that's interesting, if that's the case I won't even bother. I really hate drilling holes in the fender anyway. I want to leave the car as original as possible too, so if it's been like that for 52 years maybe I'll leave it alone. Joe

    RH mirror for C body

So does anyone have a source for reproduction passenger side mirrors. I'd like to leave the car as stock as possible, but I really think it needs a passenger side mirror for safety and backing into my garage. I really hate drilling mounting holes though. I saw a few on ebay that looked decent...
