Hello all
I realize this won't be an easy quest, but wondering if anyone knows of a Monaco for sale that has the following characteristics
1966-1969
Has a 440 under the hood
3 speed auto
red with black interior (other outside colours may be considered)
drivetrain, interior and paint original...
Thanks for the reply!
The engine I'm told is a 383, confirmed it with the VIN they sent me. Wish they had sent me a picture of the data plate as well but what can you do. And yep pictures would be good. Currently waiting on them but right now I don't have any. It does have power brakes and...
Evening all
So had a possible deal, or money pit, land in my lap. Have a friend of mine that's looking to offload a 66 Monaco convertible. Verified the drivetrains' original. Needs to be completely repainted. Not sure about the interior condition. Outside looks solid, top doesn't have any...

Running a 392 hemi. If it wasn't for the white interior I'd be looking at it. Looks in decent condition, especially for the price.

Not a fan of the colour, but it's a stupid low price for a car in decent shape. Running a 383

No idea if that's an original paintjob, but black interior. NO engine shots. If it wasn't an eight hour drive into the Quebec interior I'd see if it was sporting anything intresting under the hood, but my french is terrible at best.
Red with white interior and top, rocking a 318 under the hood. Another western car that looks to be in decent condition, and a really good price too.

So I've had about 30-40% of the adverts that I've contacted tell me that they won't share the VIN/Data plate on the cars that they have for sale, which to me seems incredibly sketchy. Is it poor form to ask for that? I figured it was just normal to want to confirm that but the amount of people...
So my assumption that it was a 300J because as far as I knew, that's the only 300 models that existed? I didn't realize there were non lettered 300's in the 60's, so I think that might be where the confusion is coming from. That's my mistake. DIdn't help that both came with a 413 like this one :)
Ah well my face is red. Read on wikipedia's page the 1963 300J was only a coupe and didn't come in red. That'll teach me to beleive an editable encyclopedia
