Normally it would have special vinyl top and other options, would have a Gran Coupe badge. Im sure some where in the vin would be verification. I had one in high school, it was loaded with options. Also around the tail lights was rubber like trim.

Welcome from east texas! Sounds like you might have a TNT model, vin# will have an L in it. Post pictures! I have a 68 also, non tnt but nice options. You will get much help here with your needs, these guys always come through me when Ive needed it. Mine wasnt running when I got it 3 yrs ago...

That is sad the people do something like that and don’t have moral honesty to report it, some accidents do happen! I have had that happen to me on 3 different vehicles, my srt challenger front fender, 75 New Yorker rear quarter, distroyed my fender skirt and my 76 coronet cop car look alike rear...

Had good times there, I did automotive repair, had a buddy took auto body, we were going to start a business, never happened! One brother took welding, another auto repair, another took ag class'and my sister took nursing. Im the only one that persude my choice, until I got into HVAC about 30...

When we were in high school in horseheads, 77-80, we had B.O.C.E.S as our votech school, I dont know if thats similar to her vocational school or not. Lots of future techs were produced from our experiance.

I totally agree with all the comments above, looks like under coating was coming off in spots. Clean it up and recoat. Looks real good to me.

Wife and I got back from a 4 day cruise to cozymel out of Galveston yesterday, now back to working fixing broke stuff at circlek stores.
