Since I am keeping the rear drums and going front disc, (with DUAL pot master) what's the story on the old proportioning valve? Do I keep it and cap the unused holes, or do I need to delete it entirely? Obviously I need a splitter for Front L and Front R discs. Not interested in arguments about...

We started work on Miss Mamie's front end yesterday and THIS part (pictured) is not quite the same as ours but ours is the wrong size for the new Borgeson steering box and I need need NEED a replacement that will fit the 1 1/4 inch input on the Borgeson box.

Already checked it and that part is okay, it's the steering box itself. Apparently someone already tightened it too far before I owned it. Look, what I lack in strength and tools I make up for in money and I just want to redo the whole front end.

I'm just willing to redo the whole thing if need be. Might as well start factory fresh, as the saying goes. I just want to enjoy the car.

I'm starting to get a little discouraged because I cannot seem to find a mechanic who can do the front end work on Miss Mamie. More than a few around the Whittier CA area but all of them are booked solid and due to health issues I am not sure I have that much time left to actually enjoy this...
