    66 Sport Fury-From The Beginning

OK since i was off yesterday I spent some time in the garage. Out of seven bucket seats I was able to come up with a fairly decent set of seat trim and got them ready to ship to my buddy in Michigan for the treatment! Thought I show a before pic so you folks can see the difference when they...

A couple shots of the parts car since I still have nothing to post on the restoration... Just wondering if anyone has ever seen this type of rear bumper guard? I like em. And BTW, looks like I'm gonna convert to electric seats. The real reason I bought the parts car. The other seats I've...

And sorry I skipped your question. Give me time to see if I have this part. And I can't help you on the door panels.

    66 Sport Fury-From The Beginning

Well mid-summer has come and gone and no movement on the car. So, I've contacted another mechanic to help me out and I'm told he'll have an opening for me towards the end of the year. Yesterday I purchased another SF convertible parts car to get a bit closer to having everything ready when we...

Looking for some ideas on moving my car?

Unfortunately, it's going to be a fairly long tow. Talked to the rollback folks and they pretty much agree on wood blocking along with a gizmo they will provide. This should be the last time I need them since I pulled the trigger a gooseneck flatbed trailer over the summer.

Some good ideas here. Looks like I'm gonna be doing some carpentry work in his driveway. Thank you all!

Looking for some ideas on moving my car?

This is what we have in the front. After 6 long years with little progress, I've decided to collect my 66 Sport Fury. Of course, I have the problem of the front suspension being dismantled and I doubt trying to put it back together at the mechanics shop is an option. I'm hoping someone else has...

We also spent some time over the holidays ordering a new front end rebuild kit, new transmission rebuild kit, and a B&M shift kit. We're also pulling the front sub frame and sending it off to the blaster. Things are finally getting busy.....

Jim don't get too excited we still have a ways to go..... But I'm told I should have the car back in my hands by maybe mid summer. Then its time for the interior, a new top, and reinstalling the trim.

OK, we finally have some movement here. Engine is back together. The long and the short of it is the wrist pins were sized wrong and caused a small amount of grief! So some more cash to a new machine shop and pretty much a complete tear down and rebuild and we're back where we started? We also...

Bucket Seat Trim 66 Sport Fury

Thanks Ross! I have a guy who did all of my exterior trim using that process and the question came up when I approached him about doing the seat trim.
