I just tore down my 440 last night and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in the internals. It's a 1978 dodge motorhome 440 with 37k original miles. The crank is cast with LY rods and the heads are 452 castings. I also have other odds and ends like the distributor and waterpump/housing...
Hey guys I'm really having a hard time figuring out the going rate for this stuff. Can anyone throw me some numbers? I would rate everything in fair condition so I want to ask a fair (not ridiculous) price.
Tearing into my sport fury since a bunch of vile rodents took up residence. Currently have both front seats as well as the rear and the center console. Also have little odds and ends like the original jack in the trunk and a nice set of skirts. I'm not sure what to ask for any of it but I'm not...
I am on the lookout for a Dana 60 because I'm building a stroker 440 and I know the 8.75 won't last long behind it. Also as I stated earlier I am putting a caltracs spring and bar setup in the rear so that will be covered. Maybe I will just look into the B body relocation kit and see if I can...
Well the original plan was to run a fuel cell in the trunk so that isn't a problem. I was also going to do a Caltracs setup with split mono leafs. For now what is available for a relocation kit? I know they have them for A,B and E bodies but what are my choices for a C body? That's my main...
I'm not 100% sure, I'm looking to street/strip it so I'd love to be able to fit an 11-12". I'm not sure what I could get away with on a relocation alone. Eventually it will get back halfed but that's down the road.
Hey everyone I'm working on my 66 sport fury and looking to do a spring relocation to fit wider tires. I did a bunch of research online and couldn't find much at all. Does anyone know of any kits or how it could be done in general? I'd really like to put some wide meats on the back but still...
Hey everybody, I'm back to working on my Sport Fury and need to swap out the gas tank. I've seen a couple of guys who put 68 road runner tanks in. The tank is a hair smaller but that's not as important to me as having a new rust free tank that costs $110. My question is does anybody know if I...
Here's my rust problem, though not bad for a car that's spent it's whole life in new england. Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse with this panel topic just figured you guys are my best chance for finding something. I'd prefer to get an original panel if possible I'm just trying to figure out my...
All my pics are on my phone and it won't upload for some reason so I'll have to do it in the morning. But where the lower trim strip on the quarter goes along the rear the rust is an inch or 2 below that. But like I said I'll upload a pic tomorrow.
