    I used grease from a tube of Speedometer Lube made by Lubriplate. It was a clear lube. Not the yellow lube.

    Thanks CBODY67 and Davea for your replies. All of this happen because I lubed the cable ? If what each of you saying is true , why does it spin freely and smoothly with a piece of cable in the drill. I will have to wait until a warmer day to investigate further.

    Wouldn't broken rings show up as oil on the plugs ? All 8 plugs look normal and identical and not oil fouled.
