Anyone know the reason that in Ca, once a YOM plate is assigned to a certain year it can only be reassigned to that same year? Got the speaker grill, cleaned up and painted some of the trim, the gray and black left the rest untouched.

Looks like multiple emblems could be used as this looks like its pressed in a melted stud holds it in.

So, a friend gave me the one on left, then center one is what was on the car and the Plymouth is a NOS one. I have never seen one like the one to the far left. Going to use that one on the 70-rag top. Can someone tell what year each one is? Thanks
