I bought a 1974 NY'er in New Hampshire that was a government car and lived there from 1976 through 2009 and didn't have a bit of rust. All factory except tires and battery, sold it to a gentleman in Tokyo in 2018. They're out there and New Englander's take care of cars.

You undertook a project most in the US would shay away from and it came out beautiful.

I bought a radiator for my 91 pickup through JC Whitney 5 years ago and paid $240. It was all brass no plastic anywhere and thick brass, fit perfect. Might want to research them.

I saw no mention of replacing the ballast resistor, the first thing to do on a car that wants to start but sputters and dies.
