    I've seen a small handful of legit police cars that had an "L" ( Low Price Class ) as the 2nd character ; I believe that the '76 Valiant / Dart "A38" models have an "L" instead of a "K" . Typically , a Certified Speedometre (140 MPH in this case) , "999" paint code(s) , extra dome lamp , etc...
