Doing base/clear, just want to understand how the paint codes work for automobiles and get as close to the original color as possible in base/clear.

I was thinking maybe it was a primer or something and they left it unfinished because drum brakes hide it but no sign of that green color in the center part of the wheel. It shows up best on the spare tie I originally thought it was only the spare turns out to be all 5 wheels

Its def a dark green color and a car with drum brakes you probably wouldn't even notice unless you saw it when the car was brand new.
