Welcome, welcome. Maybe if we get a few more 65's here we can get them to include us on the homepage...

    Going Down?

Not to continue beating the leaking exhaust valve/s horse, but if that were the case the air/fuel mixture pushed through the exhaust valve during the compression stroke would account for the gas. Also the oxygen rich air in the exhaust would be detected by the O2 sensor and would be interpreted...

If money is no object, you can call AMS Obsolete. Last time I talked to them they had 4 of the passenger side and 1 of the driver side. They want crazy money though, so make sure you are sitting down when you make the call.

    Anyone heard of this?

It's been several months ago, but I was talking to a guy out in California about some Monaco parts, he said his '65 had an oscillating center A/C vent. I asked if it was aftermarket and he stated that it wasn't and that it had a MONACO nameplate in the center. He said he had been offered a...

    Rough idle

No worries, I know the thread derailed there for a bit. You have a great point, get it running right the way it was intended to run first. Couldn't agree more.

Welcome, great car!!! I wish that one was available when I bought mine. As far as re-pops are concerned, moparnutcase is dead on. If it didn't fit other models, you're not find it unless you go NOS. Mirrors and door handles and I think the antenna for the exterior. Armrest bases and pads...

    Rough idle

The coil I am running is rated for full voltage, so I'm no more likely to carry one in my glovebox than you are. As far as the stress put on the ignition box, if it fails, I'll have the excuse to replace it with the MSD ignition I'd rather have. So it's a win-win for me. But with my current...

    Hi everybody

Nice car! I'm not a hubcap guy, but those are pretty cool. And please tell me you're not using that chainsaw for rust removal. :poke:

    Rough idle

I have the Mopar conversion. I've read here where others have bypassed/removed their ballast resistors, not sure whose kit they are using. I don't have decades of experience not running a resistor, but I buy in to the concept. I think if you were to take a poll, it would be very divided. I'm...

Is there a letter "R" there, Alex?

No problem. That minimum shipping wasn't an issue when I bought my stuff. Definitely hard to justify $15 on a $8 part...

    Rough idle

Simply in response to his question of if he "could" use the MSD Blaster 2 coil. And yes, 12 volts to the MSD coil "if" the ignition conversion is done. Eliminating a component with a known high failure rate seems like a good idea to me, just my .02, and I did use the "if it were my car"...
