I'm not sure if it was here or on another FB sight someone was bound and determined to change out his Imperial brakes to disc. Ultimately he was looking for confirmation for doing it though every sane argument against it he ignored.
That was a beautiful wagon when new I'll bet.
In the early 80's I had a 63 Plymouth wagon that was basic.
Slant 6, manual transmission, steering and brakes.
It also had rubber flooring instead of carpeting.
It was a work horse of a wagon I wish I had kept
My 67 Imperial(early build non ATC) had two slide dash levers for passenger and drivers side to open the lower air vents .
If I recall the passenger side lever was eliminated for 68.
I assumed it was an ATC thing.
Eons ago I took my drivers test in a 66 Polara .
It was a four door sedan also in this same color though a 383 automatic drive train.
I actually passed the test on the first try even though I flunked parallel parking:rofl:
The grumpy woman leaning against the side of the green 53ish Ford was giving a look that had me feeling guilty.
And I didn't do anything! She had to be a mom.:D
I knew I would run over the hood of that Buick to get to the Chrysler even before watching the salesman filmstrip.
I have always had a yearning for the 63-64 Chryslers, particularly the 63's
