I ended up taking the ubolts off and just moving the rear end forward on the springs. Gave me just enough room to get the tank out.

Haha they are long gone. Someone had robbed the factory steel wheels off it and I had to have rollers for it. It now has some kind of torque thrust knock off on it and BFG TAs.

Rock auto doesnt even show a listing for rotors or pads for the front of the car. They have Calipers though. For the price they want I’d rather rebuild mine, they aren’t hard to do.

Napa doesn’t even show a parts listing for front Disks. Had them check several different c-bodies of the same year and all of them only listed front drum brakes. Same for Carquest

Didn’t realize there was that big of a change from 73 to 74. I have access to all kinds of 70-73 parts cars so that would be easy. I actually put 70 C-body disk brakes on my 67 Charger cause they were cheaper then the B-body parts. Just have to notch the holes in the spindle so that the B-body...

Any idea why? What’s the difference (other than the obvious brake system itself).

I’m sure they are great but I can’t even get pads for the car locally. The car is pretty much gonna be a DD and even get to tow a trailer occasionally so brake parts are one of the few things I’d like to easily be able to source.

Also not impressed with the premium price associated with the original style brake parts.
