Cut trunk floor out of 65 Fury last weekend.Heading over to donor to drill out about a 100 spot welds today

I thought I would show some photos of my trunk lid restoration from this spring.Had to remove rust then replace lower inner and outer.Doing one part of the car at a time so painted matte clear so it doesn’t stand out so much.

I wonder if Dana(the member with the carb shop would have any ideas.My 65 Sport Fury 318 2 bbl. does the same thing.

Thanks for the comments.My old upholstery didn’t have the silver strip.They came off like they were factory covers.Anybody ever see that type on a Sport Fury?
