Yes, keep the 30 lb canisters cool and tightly closed! FYI: Just adding a new R134A compressor and some hoses to a vintage car wont work well. The old system used components for low pressure R12, not a high pressure gas. I did an old wagon project and we replaced every AC part with new Danhard...
