I wished I had seen that before. I did find that after I ordered the one from autozone. No worries though, i have your site saved... i still have the 67 newport to rebuild.
Seems Dantes has them.... should I change the vent line as well while I'm under there? or dies that require dropping the tank?

Ive been trying to find a diagram on the fuel system or pictures from under the car. Guess I will have to try and build something to get the back up off the ground. Things like this make me wish I had one of those drive up ramps/lifts.
I would tend to agree but there was no leak before, as I checked twice within the last week. Maybe moving the rubber line out of the way while installing the fuel pump caused it to flex to much. At any rate it went from not leaking to leaking.......
So after installing a new fuel pump my line from the tank started leaking in 3 different areas. Im assuming the new pump, mechanical put enough force on the line to finally create leaks along the more rusted areas. From what I can "see", from the fuel tank its a metal line then there's a rubber...
Followed the instructions I was given and all went as it should. Got back home with the other parts I needed at 1pm and by 4pm we had swapped all new ignition ECM, Ballast, VR, Dizzy, Plugs, Plug wires and even a new fuel pump and filter. Set initial timing at 10* and she was happy so I left it...
In the midst of wiring my new electronic voltage regulator.... the old and new does not match. The connectors seem to be complete opposite on the new from the old . The old had a light blue one passenger side and a dark blue or black on the drivers side. The new is labeled "IGN" and "FIELD"...
Thanks. Should I still test the total advance timing with the vacuum attached and adjust it to be no more than 36 total?
Im replacing the electronic ignition as a kit, the one thats on it i think hs issues and i know the vacuum can does not work.
Plan on replacing my distributor today and want to make sure I have the proper parameters to set the timing.. '67 300 440...
Disconnect vacuum hose and plug....
1. Initial timing at 750 rpm idle = 11*
2. FSM timing at 2400rpm = 16*
I searched a post where the timing at 3500rpm should be...
