WANTED New or NOS vinyl top trim clips needed

Looking for new or nos clips for my vinyl top moulding. The clips are .68" wide in the dimension that holds the moulding. It's a 1968 Polara 4DHT, however the factory rear window trim clips I ordered replacements for were from a 64 dart, so who knows what fits what...

    My 1968 Polara Revival

I'm about to order a vinyl top. When we pulled out the rear window we found remnants of the original top and it was white. So, black or white top? Pros and cons?

    Installation Issues for Hemi Transplant

It doesn't have to be. It depends on your expectations. I expect to have less than $6,000 into my Polara by the time it's "perfect" for me. I'm not trying to race my c-barge, I just want a nice cruiser. Don't get me wrong, if I was at a car show and saw a gen2 hemi in a c-body I would be very...

    My 1968 Polara Revival

Got some warmish weather this week. Fired up the Polara and backed it out into the sun for some pictures before she goes under the knife this weekend. We're digging into the back window to repair some rust. Here's a short video I took of it: And some more pictures:

    My 1968 Polara Revival

It has been so dang cold here, I have 0 motivation to work in the garage or on the Polara. I'm definitely going to look into insulating my garage this summer. Really hoping spring comes along sooner than later!

    2.2 turbo laser

Oops forgot to add turbosunleashed.com I had some parts ported and powder coated by him for my Daytona. Really nice guy to work with, probably the best of the 3.

    2.2 turbo laser

Turbo-mopar.com and Turbododge.com are the big forums. I was on turbododge for a long time when I was building my 85 Daytona turbo. One thing I will say is that there is not allot of money to be made with these cars. People usually build them to keep, not to sell, for that reason. Aftermarket...

    My 1968 Polara Revival

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately the cables and everything are hooked up, just very stiff, which caused the plastic clips on the knobs to break, and now they flop around.

    My 1968 Polara Revival

Thanks! I really like green cars for some reason. It's actually just primer on the roof right now, the old vinyl top was gone before my friend bought the car. I'm planning on doing a black vinyl top from newstalgia parts once we get the rust around the back window addressed, probably in the spring.

    My 1968 Polara Revival

Thanks! As for parts, right now I need the heater controls sliders. Both of mine broke in the cold and they just flop back and forth now.

    My 1968 Polara Revival

Hey guys, I figured I would start a build thread since I plan to do a bit of work to this ride. I purchased this 68 Polara 4 door hardtop 383 from my good friend in early January. He had already done quite a bit of work to it. My first car was a 1966 Impala that I daily drove for 4 years. I sold...

    5th Annual C Body Show

I'll try to make it, it's only 4.5 hours from me. My buddy with a 72 New Yorker will probably caravan with me.

WANTED Rear Seat Covers for 68 Polara 4DHT

I'm looking for a rear seat cover for my 68 Polara 4 door hardtop. It's the green center with grey and black. Mainly need back, but will take back and seat if both are solid. My front seats are almost perfect so I'd like to get a back seat to match. Here's what I'm looking for minus the rips...

68 Polara single din radio install

That would work for most people. Like I said in the first post I want more control, and for the price you can't beat a head unit. Also I didn't modify anything but a $12 radio mount, the dash is untouched. if I want to go back to stock it would take 5 minutes or less.

68 Polara single din radio install

I ended up mounting the stereo in the ash tray area. I removed the ash tray, then cut a universal single din mount from metra (99-9000) down to about 5" deep with a band saw, which allows it to fit in this area. The radio I used is a kenwood kmm-bt728hd. Eventually I will make a pod to go...
