    For Sale 1973 Sport Fury

Hi, I picked a a 1973 Sport Fury 4d a couple years ago with the intention of restoring it. I completely stripped the car, the metal is not bad, a little rust on the rear quarters. I had the car water blasted and epoxy coated. I purchased a ton of stuff to build the car but reality set in and I...

    Need Big block advice!

My engines a 75, just measured, pistons down .120. Engine is out of truck. The reason I wanted to swap out heads is 1, compression, 2, machine shop wants $550 to clean, mill, press check and perform valve job on stock heads. That's more than 1/2 way to the aluminum heads and I'll still have...

Chinese? Forget that. Amazon has the edelbrocks for $1100 free shipping. I didn't want to have the block bored and I couldn't find domed pistons in a stock bore size. Do you have a source for them?

Also found these http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006MYCP9C/ref=aw_ls__1?colid=1SVT03VAMGUL3&coliid=I3JNDSNJYZGHN4 75cc. Not sure if they require different rockers and puch rods

    Need Big block advice!

Thanks for all the input. This engine is getting swapped into a fury that currently has a 318 so the exhaust will have to be fabbed up anyway. Planning on installing a cam and either msd or Fast injection. Was originally going to go with edelbrock heads but they have larger chambers. Just want...

    Need Big block advice!

I just picked up a 440 out of a truck. The engine is a 1975 and is in great shape, never molested and had a documented 56k on it. Upon tear down I noticed how clean the engine was. The hone marks on the cyls still look fresh. Unfortunately from what I've read the 70's bb are dogs. Low...

    Engine Swap question

Wow. That msd unit is nice. I like that it has inputs for fans, a/c and ignition. I'd take you up on that tallhair but I'm in NY. I found a bunch of bb 727s on car-part cheap but they ask if the vehicle was a 350hp or a 375. Is there a difference in the transmissions?

    440 purchase?

I just picked up a 1975 440 for $300. Engine is clean and has a documented 56k on it. It does have a cast crank though. It's an RB engine. Don't know much about Dodge engines. How does the RB compair to the B series engine? Are aftermarket parts easier to get for one compaired to the other? I...

    Engine Swap question

I picked up a 75 440 for $300. The engine is clean and has a documented 56k on it. I'll be on the lookout for a trans. I'm pretty sure mildon makes an oil pan for the swap, I'll be putting the FAST TB on it. Not sure what to do about exhaust. Headers? The manifolds that came on the engine are...

    Engine Swap question

Got a friend who works at a salvage yard and has a motor home with a 440 in it. I can get it pretty cheap. There's a lot more available for the BB it seams. Might go that route.

    Engine Swap question

Did the 70 Fury come with a 440? If so will that bolt up to the k-frame? I might be able to get my hands on one.

    Engine Swap question

Thanks for all the info! Shes not much to look at now. A lot of surface rust but the car and chassis is solid. It does have the hidden headlights which I like. I'm taking pics as I go, I'll post as soon as I can. Also its a 4 dr but I dont mind. I knew about the pan and the headers not clearing...
